A little about me…

Welcome to Eickhoff Photography! I’m Lindsay and I want to help you record memories for your family to treasure for years to come.

I’ve loved photography my whole life. I can clearly remember the day that my dad taught me about the rule of 1/3s (simple composition) when we were on a family vacation in Colorado -- and the boatloads of film rolls that I brought home. He and I shared photos for years to use as backgrounds at work or showcase our most recently discovered bald eagle perches. When he suddenly passed away more than 10 years ago, I found myself pouring over the pictures of us together. The photos that showed our connection and his joy with me and my sisters were everything to me. I loved seeing his genuine smile or him beaming with pride at us girls or his grandbabies. I realized then that I wanted to use my passion for photography and skills with a camera to capture connection and emotion in families.

I now have 2 little loves of my own, Charlie and Lilly, which has only increased my desire to photograph all the little moments. I can’t believe how fast my first tiny baby has become a young boy! I love to see my babies’ chubby little cheeks and reminisce about those early baby giggles and soft baby hands.

My “why” is incredibly personal and comes from wishing I had more photos of me with the people I have loved and lost. It has also led me to volunteer with Soulumination, a local Seattle non-profit organization that provides photography services to families facing life-threatening conditions in the hope that they can cherish and celebrate the lives of their loved one through professional photographs and treasured keepsakes. This group provides an incredible service to families and I am so honored to be able to both photograph for them and help make some of the beautiful gifts that they share with families. Check them out at www.Soulumination.org.

Ultimately, I want to help remind people of the best parts of life every day. To create photos that make you smile and feel joy when you see the love within your family. I want to help you remember the details of your baby's sweet grin, your toddler's emerging personality, and your children's faces as they change from little kids to young adults.

If you love my photography style, click below and send me a message so we can set up a date to start recording your beautiful family. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your moments. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
